LoaDoc continuously listens for incoming invoices and load documents — from dedicated email inboxes, cloud drives like Google Drive, direct uploads, or phone photos — then leverages OCR combined with AI to extract and place that data into structured digital records with high precision. No manual intervention required.
The Project
LoaDoc eliminates the manual data-entry bottleneck in freight operations. Drivers and back-office staff deal with a flood of paper and PDF invoices, bills of lading, rate confirmations, and other load documents arriving through every channel imaginable. Rather than requiring someone to upload each file, LoaDoc automates the entire intake-to-data pipeline end to end — it watches for new documents, processes them, and delivers clean, structured data ready for TMS and accounting systems.
Approach
- Automated file listening — connects to cloud drives (Google Drive, etc.) and dedicated email addresses to automatically pull new documents from attachments as they arrive, with zero human involvement
- OCR + AI pipeline — optical character recognition handles text extraction while an AI layer interprets layout, corrects errors, and maps fields (shipper, consignee, weight, line items, totals) with high accuracy
- Multi-source intake — beyond automated listeners, also supports direct upload of scans/photos and bulk PDF processing for ad-hoc needs
