Music
Singer/Songwriter
Folk storytelling with soulful rock energy. Songs about real life: family, resilience, and the stuff you don't post.
Josh Holtzclaw is a Birmingham, Alabama singer/songwriter whose music blends folk roots with soulful rock drive. His songs are personal and direct, built on warm guitars and lyrics that do not dodge the truth.
His debut album Safe in Sound captures a season of building — family life, responsibility, ambition, and the quiet resilience required to keep showing up. Music for people who love deeply and work hard, and still need a song that understands them.

The Process
Music is how I process life and connect with people — the same way great products connect through clarity and emotion. Songs usually start with a guitar riff or a lyric fragment, then I build out from there, layering and refining until it feels complete. I record at home, which gives me the freedom to experiment and iterate without time pressure.
